2ME1 Patisserie & Bakery sits quietly tucked inside Southkey Mozek, offering a low-key cafe experience that fits well with the surrounding retail and residential vibe. It’s a spot locals, especially those living or working nearby, tend to drop by for a morning coffee or a casual catchup over pastries without the usual cafe bustle.

The interior balances cozy and modern with clean lines and soft lighting, though some visitors have noted that the display lighting could be warmer to better showcase the bakery’s visual appeal. With a calm ambiance that sometimes borders on too quiet — even on weekends — it’s a place suited for those who appreciate a laid-back pace, perhaps for some solo work or a relaxed chat rather than lively group hangouts.

On the menu, 2ME1 leans into classics with distinctive twists: the Rose Latte and Cold Earl Grey topped with lychee-infused milk foam both offer floral, fragrant notes that stand out from typical brews. Pastries like the Lemon Meringue Croissant and Garlic Shio Pan bring a mix of sweet and savory options to complement the drinks. The Cloud Tiramisu Cake is soft and airy with a crunchy textural surprise, though some find the croissants a touch dry if reheated before serving.

Breakfast here is generous in size, catering well to those wanting a substantial start to the day without leaving the neighborhood’s heart. The environment and menu seem to suit anyone who prefers an unhurried coffee break, from local professionals seeking a quiet nook to residents aiming to combine convenience with decent quality.

  • Best time to visit: quieter mornings or early afternoons during weekdays for a calm ambiance
  • Who will enjoy it: solo coffee sippers, neighborhood residents, and casual meetups needing a relaxed setting
  • Atmosphere: understated and cozy, with friendly service that makes up for the low-key crowd

If you’re nearby and want reliable coffee paired with understated pastries in a peaceful corner of Southkey Mozek, 2ME1 provides that steady option—just don’t expect a bustling cafe vibe.

Good coffee and a pleasant location. However, the place felt unusually quiet even on a weekend. I was the only customer there for about two hours. One suggestion for the owner would be to improve the pastry lighting. Using warmer lights around 3000K could make the pastries look more appealing compared to the current white lighting.

This cafe is an absolute gem! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and friendly atmosphere. The coffee is exceptional—rich, aromatic, and expertly brewed. The foam is smooth, with virtually no stray bubbles. Kudos to the baristas here! The decor is cozy yet modern, making it a perfect spot for a catch-up with friends or some quiet work time. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for quality and comfort in one spot! Definitely recommended!!!

I’ve been staying at Mosaic Southkey for over a year now, and since 2ME1 is located right below, it’s always been a convenient option for me whenever I’m craving coffee or pastries. This is actually my second visit, and I feel I can finally give a fair review. On my first visit, I tried their Garlic Cheese Bagel, Cheesecake, and a Matcha. Honestly, I found them quite average — not bad, but also not something that left a strong impression. The bagel was a little dense and the garlic-cheese combo didn’t really pop, the cheesecake leaned towards being one-dimensional, and the matcha lacked the depth and richness I usually look forward to. It felt like one of those “hit-or-miss” places, where you might need to try a few different items to find what suits you. Fast forward to today, I suddenly had a craving for an Almond Croissant and wasn’t sure where else nearby I could get one, so we decided to come back here. And I have to say — the Almond Croissant was really good. The pastry was flaky and buttery, with a lovely almond filling that wasn’t overly sweet. Definitely a standout item and worth coming back for. We also tried their New York Chunky Cookie this time. Unfortunately, it didn’t win me over. While it looked tempting and had that thick, chunky cookie appearance, the texture felt a little on the dry side and the sweetness was overwhelming, making it hard to enjoy more than a few bites. Overall, I’d say 2ME1 is a café with potential but quite uneven execution. If you’re staying around Southkey or visiting the area, it’s convenient and has a nice enough ambience to sit down for a quick bite. My advice would be to go for the Almond Croissant — that’s the one item I can genuinely recommend. For the rest, it may depend on your personal taste. I’ll probably still pop by again since it’s right downstairs from me, and maybe explore more of their menu to see if there are other hidden gems. For now, it’s a mixed bag: some misses, but a few hits like that croissant that make me want to give them another chance.

The tiramisu is soft like a cloud with a nice crunchy surprise in side. The rose coffee smells and looks amazing. The 2ME1 breakfast is big and tasty. The croissant because they cut it before heating was a bit dry and the coconut Americano is just not nice. Overall a good experience and recommend.

The atmosphere was cozy and well-decorated cafe. The workers were super friendly, and service was quick. I ordered rose latte, hazelnut latte, blueberry danish & lemon meringue. Prices were reasonable for the quality. Definitely will come again

We spent about RM60 for two of us. The cafe was quite short-staffed because there were 2 down with influenza, so it was just a one man show. The wait was long but no compromise on quality. Spy A (Apple, Ume Plum, Cinnamon, Chai Foam, Spring Green) was possibly one of the best drinks I’ve had this year. Highly recommended.

It was a fantastic peaceful venue for breakfast. Had a glass of ice latte with a fabulous healthy breakfast meal. All perfect to start the morning ahead. Nice spot! Great pricing too.
